Brian Sapadin Joins MWW Group's Financial Relations Board Division as Vice President of Client Service and Business Development

Posted on: Thursday, 15 January 2009, 09:21 CST

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- MWW Group, one of the nation's leaders in financial communications and investor relations, announced today that Brian Sapadin has joined the company's Financial Relations Board Division as vice president. Sapadin's primary role will be to help spearhead client service and business development initiatives.

Sapadin joins the company from Breakstone Group, a New York investor relations firm, where, as senior vice president, he headed the agency's global business development effort and worked with micro-, small- and mid-cap clients to execute their IR programs. Previously, Sapadin served as managing director of the New York office of financial communications firm CCG, where he oversaw global business development, spearheaded the integration of two joint ventures and managed market intelligence programs for domestic and international clients.

"Brian has deep experience both in developing new business and executing against their goals," said Claire Koeneman, President of Financial Relations Board. "Brian has worked with IR clients of varying size, on global and domestic IR initiatives. We intend to leverage that expertise to deliver value to existing clients and to showcase our strength to prospective ones."

Brian returns to FRB following a marketing and business development role in 2001-2002. His primary responsibilities included development of collateral material and management of an infrastructure platform for new business outreach. His target audience included small and mid-cap companies on the East Coast, as well as pre-IPO companies exploring the equities market.

Before entering the financial communications field, Sapadin founded and served as President of Crossroads, a live music venue in NYC. He began his career on Citicorp's loan trading and syndications desk where he earned his Series 7 and 63 licenses. He ran the syndicate book on Citicorp-lead deals and helped launch a liquid market for secondary loan trading. He worked on several high-profile transactions, including the largest LBO at the time, KKR's acquisition of RJR.

Sapadin graduated from George Washington University with a BBA in Finance and is an active member of NIRI's NY Chapter.
