Four men stabbed at ‘Notorious’ party
Four men were stabbed at a New York nightclub hosting a party marking the release of Notorious,
a movie about slain rapper Biggie Smalls, police say.
Police said the attacks early Saturday took place at the Djumbala Club in Smalls’s native borough of Brooklyn and that all four victims survived, the New York Post reported Sunday. Three of the men were in stable condition and one was said to be in critical condition.
The only identified victims were brothers Rob Davis, 21, and Chris Davis, 18.
The injured brothers’ aunt, Cynthia Cotto, alleged the nightclub did not check underage individuals for weapons before letting them into the club.
Details regarding the stabbings or any potential suspects were not reported.
The Post said Notorious,
which follows the life and death of Smalls, opened nationwide Friday.
