Actress Ringwald pregnant with twins

U.S. actress Molly Ringwald, who plays a mom on TV and is one in real life, says she is pregnant again, this time with twins.

Ringwald, 40, told People.com exclusively Friday that she and her 33-year-old husband, Panio Gianopoulos, are expecting a new son and daughter.

The couple already has a 5-year-old daughter, Mathilda Ereni.

A spokeswoman for The Secret Life of an American Teenager said Ringwald’s pregnancy will become part of the storyline on the ABC Family series.

Ringwald’s Secret Life co-star Shailene Woodley said little Mathilda has been a regular visitor to the series’ set.

Molly’s first child is so gorgeous! Woodley, who plays the daughter of Ringwald’s character on Secret Life, told People. She’s got the dark hair like her Greek dad but she’s got Molly’s beautiful features. Whenever she brings Mathilda to the set, everybody’s happy.

In addition to the family drama, Ringwald has starred in movies such as Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club.
