Duff set for new ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ film
U.S. actress Hilary Duff has signed on to star in an independent film about notorious gangsters Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, Variety.com said.
Duff, 21, is slated to co-star with Kevin Zegers in the movie, which was written and will be directed by
When I Find the Ocean filmmaker Tonya S. Holly.
The Story of Bonnie and Clyde — which is to be shot in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama — is not intended to be a remake of the iconic 1967 film starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. Holly told Variety.com she began writing her version of the story after she stumbled across some old newspaper articles about the real-life criminal couple.
Duff’s film credits include

Air Bud movies, as well as
Fifty Dead Men Walking.
