Jennifer Siegal , Celebrated West Coast Designer (Architecture): Being revered as an imaginative and inventive designer on the forefront of the prefabricated architecture movement simply isn’t enough for Siegal. Jimmy Wales , Founder of Wikipedia (New Media/Technology): AnAlabama -born former options trader, Wales set out in 2001 to create an open online encyclopedia that would become “the sum of all human knowledge.” But he’s not doing it by himself; with over 10 million user-created articles in 253 languages, Wikipedia has become a global virtual community of millions where everyday people are the writers and editors. - Lupe Fiasco, Hip-Hop Superstar (Music): In an industry that responds to mainstream pop and glamour,
Chicago -born and raised hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco broke out from the pack with his emphasis on strong lyricism and storytelling. Having racked up four 2009 Grammy nominations for his latest critically acclaimed album, no one can argue with his path to success. -
Patrick Robinson , Head Designer for Gap (Fashion): Robinson has already put his mark on Gap brand as the newly-appointed Executive Vice President of Design, expertly handling the company’s challenge to create buzz worthy yet affordable clothing.
