Tribune Interactive Appoints Erica Thornton Chief Financial Officer/Senior Vice President

CHICAGO, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Interactive today announced the appointment of Erica Thornton as its chief financial officer/senior vice president. Effective immediately, Thornton will be responsible for managing the financial and operational planning activities of Tribune Company's interactive group.

"Not only is Erica tremendously talented and experienced, she acts like an adult which is unusual for Interactive," said Marc Chase, Tribune Interactive's president. "I really have no idea why she took the job. We all did our best to talk her out of it."

Thornton brings a wealth of broadcast accounting, finance and management experience to TI. Most recently, Erica was vice president/finance for Clear Channel Chicago. She has served in both corporate and operational capacities in the broadcasting industry for over 20 years and brings an expertise in strategic initiative development and organizational business planning.
