Cossette Communication Group - Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders Elects Board of Directors

MONTREAL, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Cossette Communication Group Inc. today held its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders in Montreal.

Shareholders have re-elected the following directors to the Company's Board of Directors: Claude Lessard, Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President; Francois Duffar, Vice-Chairman of the Board; Robert G. Beauregard, President of The Beauregard Group, Inc.; Raymond Boucher, President of Raybou Communication Inc.; Paule Gauthier, Partner, Stein Monast LLP; Monic Houde, President, MMH Conseil; and Anthony G. Miller, Corporate Director.

Charles Sirois, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Telesystem Ltd., and David D. McKerroll, Chairman, OTEC Research Limited, chose not to stand for re-election to the Company's Board of Directors.

Shareholders have elected three new directors to replace them: Pierre Delagrave, President, Cossette Media and Fjord Marketing Interactive+Technology; Jean Lavigueur, Chief Financial Officer, Coveo Solutions Inc.; and Georges Morin, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development, Cossette Communication Group Inc.
