The Studio Velo/Kovarus Cycling Club (SVK-CC) is a charitable organization
equally committed to cycling and to helping win the fight against brain
tumors. “More than 200,000 people in the U.S. and Canada are diagnosed with a
brain tumor each year, including my nephew who was diagnosed in 2000 and has
endured many surgeries. SVK-CC is committed to making a difference for people
like my nephew and his family,” said Peter Castaldi, principal at Kovarus.
Kovarus also sponsors an elite cycling team focused on promoting awareness for
ABTA.

Scott Penzarella, founder of Studio Velo, said “We are pleased to partner
with Kovarus and the Kovarus/ABTA Racing for Research cycling team to support
those battling brain tumors and bring riders together in the spirit of sport,
fun, and charity.”

The new club will offer weekly organized rides and monthly special
rides/clinics hosted by either a member of the Kovarus/ABTA racing team or by
another special guest. Members will also have access to the SVK-CC private
Internet portal where they can coordinate rides and chat with other SVK-CC
members. Those interested in joining the club can visit the club Website at
