Favorite characters, songs and scenes available for top e-card sending holiday

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- New character, film and music content for e-cards is giving consumers additional opportunities to connect this Valentine's Day. The most popular Hallmark Valentine's Day e-card is a sock puppet video that plays Barry White's "Can Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" in the background. More e-cards are sent on Valentine's Day than any other day of the year. Hallmark is offering these new, innovative e-cards for just 99 cents. About one-third of all Hallmark e-cards are free.

The e-cards feature stop-motion animation, video clips, original song clips and the ability to add photographs for a personal touch. Newly licensed content on Hallmark.com allows consumers to select e-cards featuring popular TV shows and movies such as "The Office," "30 Rock," and "Juno" for their Valentine's Day e-cards.

"Many of these e-cards feature properties that are unavailable anywhere else," notes Lindsey Roy, Hallmark general manager of digital greetings. "We are excited to offer a new selection of e-cards that help people connect with their family, friends and sweethearts."

Hallmark's e-card content ranges from humorous, such as a song and dance from Moto Moto, a character in DreamWorks Animation's "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa(TM)" to sweet and lighthearted such as a design featuring Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight."
