WebbMason Opens Tampa Bay Distribution Facility

February 12, 2009

Facility to provide full warehouse and distribution services

BALTIMORE, Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ — WebbMason, a national print and brand management provider, announces today the opening of its newest warehouse and distribution facility in the greater Tampa / St. Petersburg, Florida area. The 10,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility is fully operational and provides WebbMason clients with a full suite of distribution services including same day pick-and-pack, kit building, secure storage for high-value products and full access to all modes of transportation.

“Our new distribution center is ideally located in central Florida, allowing us to provide substantial cost savings and faster turnaround times via next-day delivery options at ground freight rates to most locations in Florida,” said Mark Smith, Vice President of Tampa Bay Sales for WebbMason. “After an extensive review of facilities in the Tampa Bay area, we selected this location because it provides us the storage capacity and office space we need to meet growing demand in this region. In addition, it is designed for Florida’s weather conditions with features that include block construction, hurricane resistant doors, a climate-controlled storage area and epoxy sealed floors to reduce dust.”

The Largo, FL warehouse is WebbMason’s seventh company-owned distribution center bringing its nationwide storage network to more than 250,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. All of these facilities, including the new Largo location, are directly linked to both WebbMason’s online MarketingBench platform as well as its operational software system, enabling WebbMason to provide detailed information to its clients regarding their inventory activities.

To streamline operations, WebbMason’s Tampa Bay sales and customer service offices have also moved to the Largo location.

“The strategic expansion of our warehousing and logistics operations into central Florida allows us to increase our service levels, tighten our supply chain and streamline delivery to our expanding customer base in Florida and the southeastern US,” said Warner Mason, President and CEO of WebbMason.

In addition to the new facility in Largo, FL, WebbMason operates two (2) warehouses in Baltimore, MD as well as facilities in Houston, TX; Chicago, IL; Shelbyville, TN and Greenville, SC.

WebbMason provides customers with enhanced access to their procurement channels through its online Brand and Print Management Center, known as MarketingBench. For more than a decade, this proprietary system has allowed users within an organization to streamline the procurement of printed and branded materials more effectively. Online users can release items from inventory, customize and order stationery, business cards, brochures and promotional items. WebbMason’s online service allows buyers and managers to review real-time inventory information, receive automated reorder notifications, track orders and ensure brand integrity throughout an organization.
