Malkovich and Brolin to star in ‘Hex’

John Malkovich and Josh Brolin will star in a big-screen adaptation of the Jonah Hex
comic-book series set to start shooting in April, Variety.com said.
The Warner Bros. movie, which is set shortly after the U.S. Civil War, is to be directed by Jimmy Hayward, whose film credits include Dr. Seuss’s Horton Hears a Who.

Malkovich was most recently seen in Burn After Reading
and Changeling.
Brolin is a current Oscar nominee for his work in Milk.
He has also starred in W.,
