An actor who had a small role as a steroids dealer in The Wrestler has been arrested for allegedly selling steroids, the New York Post said Thursday.

Scott Siegel was arrested in Eastchester, N.Y., Wednesday night after he allegedly crashed his Cadillac Escalade into law-enforcement vehicles and led police on a car-and-foot chase, the Post said.

After he was caught, Siegel was charged with distributing steroids and assaulting a federal officer.

Art imitates life, Erin Mulvey of the Drug Enforcement Administration told The Journal News.

Siegel’s co-stars Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei both were nominated for Oscars for their work in the film. Oscar winners are to be announced Sunday.
