‘Knight’ worldwide revenues exceed $1B
The total worldwide revenues for the U.S. blockbuster movie
The Dark Knight have surpassed $1 billion, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. says.
The U.S. studio announced Friday the worldwide gross for the popular comic book-based action film had reached $1,001,082,160, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The Batman movie is up for eight Oscars Sunday.
Warner Bros. domestic distribution President Dan Fellman told the Reporter the studio was very proud of the success of last year’s summer blockbuster.
