Simon & Schuster's 365 Crosswords Application Now Available on the Apple App Store

NEW YORK, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Simon & Schuster today announced its 365 Crosswords puzzle application for iPhone and iPod touch is available exclusively on the Apple App Store. 365 Crosswords bundles crossword software and a year's worth of puzzles in one simple download, allowing users to play anytime, anywhere without a subscription or the need for a daily download - unlike some other current crossword applications for which users must download new content from external sources every time they want a new puzzle. 365 Crosswords is filled with exclusive and challenging puzzles created by the best contemporary constructors of the genre, and edited by top puzzle master John M. Samson, creator of the Simon & Schuster Mega Crossword Puzzle Book series.

In 1924, Simon & Schuster published its first title, The Cross Word Puzzle Book. Not only was it the publisher's first release, it was the first collection of crossword puzzles ever published in book form, and became a huge bestselling phenomenon.
