Bringing Mother Nature to Manhattan
NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ — Highly acclaimed landscape photographer
Peter Lik has completed his US gallery expansion with the recent opening of two flagship galleries in Manhattan. The first is located in the newest Manhattan shopping venue, The Plaza Retail Collection, in the historic Plaza Hotel. The second is located in downtown SoHo.
Peter Lik now boasts twelve US galleries and one gallery in his native land of Australia.
Lik’s first US gallery opened in Lahaina, HI in 2003. He has since settled in Las Vegas, opening a gallery in the Forum Shops at Caesars in 2005, followed by galleries in the Venetian and Mandalay Bay. His expansion continued to Miami, Key West, Aspen, La Jolla and back to Hawaii.
Lik aims to capture two different and distinct demographics by bringing his art to New York City. His breathtaking photographs not only cater to a sophisticated clientele with exquisite taste and style, but also to the art-savvy crowd seeking out-of-the-ordinary pieces. Lik’s incredible work is sure to please even the toughest critic.
Peter presents his art on a grand scale, and there is no better place to do so than in New York City. The iconic Plaza Hotel is arguably one of the grandest venues in the world, situated on 5th Avenue and Central Park South. With its recent $400 million renovation, it is now home to some of the most exclusive retail names in the world. Lik’s gallery reflects the elegance of Mother Nature, and his unsurpassed photography creates the exclusivity that the upscale consumer craves.
Lik’s second NY gallery in downtown SoHo is situated in the prime location of West Broadway between Prince and
Spring Streets. SoHo has developed into an artist’s haven, establishing itself as the art capital of New York City. This was the perfect fit for the final part of Lik’s US expansion. His unparalleled photography is a breath of fresh air for the streets of New York, a city where nature’s elements are difficult to find.
