Family and friends amazed as women become their photographs
This "Believe and Become" phenomenon is the backbone of master photographer
"The Truth and Grace project came out of a need to prove my mature women clients wrong," says Peters. "Too many simply didn't believe they were as attractive as they once were. They had given up on that part of their life. They simply needed hope - and some kind of proof."
Peters now asks his subjects for permission to accept what he sees in them: "I will take them back in time and present them images of the beauty I see still alive inside. Sometimes all it takes is gorgeous light and the perfect angle, but if it takes removing 20 years and 30 pounds through artwork I'll do it."

"Delighted disbelief is the most common first response," says Peters, of the women he photographs, "but eventually they do believe and that's when the magic happens and the restoration begins. It's extremely gratifying to be part of their 'miracle.'"
