Government Executive Media Group Introduces Bid Program for Last Minute Advertising Inventory

WASHINGTON, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Government Executive Media Group today announced the launch of MyBid, a program enabling advertisers to bid on last minute advertising inventory. Through MyBid, marketers interested in reaching federal managers are now able to bid for last minute ad space available on GovernmentExecutive.com, the leading federal web site(1), and Nextgov.com, a new rapidly growing web 2.0 site for the federal IT community.

"MyBid is one of a series of programs we are rolling out in 2009 designed to provide more value and more access for the federal contractor community," said Steve Vito, President, Government Executive Media Group. After signing up for the program, interested federal marketers will receive an email each Wednesday morning announcing available advertising opportunities for the following week. Marketers may then submit their pricing bid for specific ad inventory. Opportunities will include space on both GovernmentExecutive.com and Nextgov.com, including section sponsorships, eNewsletters, and run-of-site placements. Advertisers will be notified on Friday whether their bid for the following week has been accepted.
