Much media attention has focused on the current economic situation and students' reduced ability to access loans for college. This comes on the heels of rising tuition costs in recent years.
"So many people love their college or university. School rivalries bring people together -- and why not come together and have fun raising money for college students who are notoriously preoccupied with making ends meet, and, in light of the economy, under even more pressure to perform well academically," MostSpirited.com President JL Santos said.
MostSpirited.com currently features two contests: "the Most Spirited photo," and a creative writing piece that answers the question "What do you value about your education?" First place winners in each category will win
MostSpirited.com membership is free for current students. Just by joining, five current college students will win
MostSpirited.com is in Beta mode and accepting suggestions for what the "Most Spirited" campus should win in the 2009-2010 academic year.
