Female reality star charged with assault

Real Housewives of New York City, has been charged with assaulting her boyfriend, court records show.
The New York Post said the 6-foot former model and one-time marathon runner allegedly gave her 10-years-younger boyfriend, Nick Stefanov, a black eye, a bloody gash on his cheek and a fat lip during a heated argument at her Manhattan apartment.
Stefanov, 30, reported the alleged incident to police last week, and Bensimon surrendered two days later. She was charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault and is scheduled to be arraigned March 31.
We got engaged a couple weeks ago, the Post quoted Stefanov as telling a friend.
We got into an argument that escalated and escalated. She hauled off and started swinging. She got a lucky punch on my cheekbone and just split it right open. I went down to the police station covered in blood.
Stefanov reportedly returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh because he didn’t want to be seen around New York with an injured face.
If I had done it to her, I would have been put in jail immediately, Stefanov is said to have told his friend.

Stefanov and Bensimon, 40, have been together nearly four years.
