SOUTHWEST COUNTY, Calif.,
Lisa, whose latest book HOW TO GET POOR QUICK: 10 Myths That Can Cause Your Business to Fail, takes the fear out of starting your own business in this troubled economy, will join her husband, Scott, as the Southwest County couple chosen to parent two unruly teens from different families in the first of eight episodes. Taping was completed at the Vintons'
Lisa's parental discipline correlates directly with the professional advice she gives her readers and clients as President/CEO and founder of Services for Success, Inc. (www.Services4Success.com), her business management consulting firm; and her listeners as co-host of her radio show, Only 2 Degrees, (www.only2degrees.com), which has fun connecting people all over the world to promote business.
As host parent on the CMT series, Lisa forces her misbehaving teens to live under different standards from their families back home, and be subject to punishment for breaking rules and skipping chores while the strict parents attempt to mend their ways. In her application, Lisa caught producers' attention by writing she did not hesitate to call the police on any of her own five children. She also has twice served as a surrogate mother and is founder/director of Southwest Pregnancy Counseling Center, Inc., a non-profit that educates and supports crisis pregnancy teens. A keynote speaker and certified trainer for business and women's issues, Lisa also is a TV business news analyst and 2007 recipient of Citizen of the Year from her local Chamber of Commerce.
