CISIS Platform Proves Its Value Amid the Economic Crisis

DALIAN, China, March 17 /PRNewswire-Asia/ — The China International
Software & Information Service Fair will be held from June 18-21, 2009 in the
northern Chinese city of Dalian.

The China International Software and Information Service Fair (CISIS) is
the only national-level software fair approved by the State Council of the P.R.
China. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and
Information Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and
Technology, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Liaoning
Provincial People’s Government, and is organized by the Dalian Municipal
People’s Government and China Association of Trade in Service, while the China
International Software and Information Service Centre is the secretariat.
CISIS 2009 will be held at the Dalian World Expo Centre from
June 18-21.

From its beginning, CISIS bears the historical tasks of leading the
development of the Chinese software industry and undertaking the
transformation of the world’s emerging industries, expanding international
collaboration with the Chinese software and information industries. CISIS was
successfully held for six sessions and gained a high degree of recognition
from domestic and foreign businesses. It is the largest software event in
China with the highest level of response. CISIS is the best platform for
global IT giants to open up in the Chinese market and for domestic provinces
and cities to seek international cooperation.

The CISIS 2009 theme is “Encouraging Drivers” and consists of three parts
– Exhibition, Convention and Activity — with six topics: International
Cooperation, Innovation, Industry Application, Talents Exchange, Capital
Connection and Credit System, which show the platform value of CISIS as the
vane for businesses and the touchstone for enterprises.

The exhibition scale of CISIS 2009 is 30,000 square meters with 1,200
booths in the main exhibition zone, which includes mini booths (less than 9
square meters) and negotiation booths in World Economic Forum style. CISIS
sets up a Global IT Village in the international zone to facilitate a
communicate environment to meet the needs of enterprises promoting products
without displays or conducting high-end negotiations during the exhibition.

CISIS will set up the Industry Application Software Zone, which gathers IT
application achievements in the fields of logistics, shipping, and equipment
manufacturing, etc. to promote information techniques and trends in
e-commerce, internet, RFID, IC design and embedded software.

China International Software and Information Service Forum &
Entrepreneurs’ Summit is the main forum and the theme is “Risks, Opportunities
and Growth”. The forum will focus on the revitalization of China’s industry
planning, and 4-trillion-yuan investment in China’s economic growth at home
and abroad. This is the industry’s highly sensitive topic of concern up for
authoritative interpretation; participants, for the first time, will gain an
in-depth understanding of Chinese Industry Promotion planning policy direction
and key points. How to face the global financial crisis? How to transform the
crisis into opportunity? How to realize industry optimization and create new
increases through information technology? Those topics will be the hot issues.

Besides, the thematic forums such as China International Software
Innovation Forum, China International Software and Information Service
Outsourcing Forum, China International Software and Information Service
Training Forum, China International Software and Information Service Venture
Capital Forum & Connect Seminar, China Governor and Mayor Scientific
