SHANGHAI, March 18 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Virtuos, one of the world's

allows Virtuos to further expand its services offering to game companies.

Since its inception in 2004 by Founder and Audio Director Yang Jie
("Digimonk"), BSP has specialized in video game audio production exclusively
and built a very strong reputation in China. BSP has worked on dozens of PC
and console games for international and Chinese game publishers including 2K
Games, 9You, Disney Interactive, Epic China, Netease, Tencent and Ubisoft.
Yang Jie has been creating sounds and composing music for games for over 10
years; he is an Apple certified Audio Trainer and teaches digital audio &
sound design at the renowned Shanghai Music Institute. He and his team of
sound designers, composers and programmers will join Virtuos to form Virtuos
Sound Studio. "I have known Virtuos' CEO Gilles Langourieux and his management
team for over 10 years; by joining forces with Virtuos, I believe my team and
I will find new resources to pursue the vision of Besides Sound Production
further."
After growing resources by 40% and revenues by 70% in 2008, Virtuos is
anticipating another strong year of growth in 2009. This is fueled by strong
demand in art and animation production, co-development projects and
engineering services. With close to 450 staff, Virtuos has reached a scale
which allows the company to provide critical services to multiple project
teams simultaneously. The addition of a Sound team is aimed at offering a more
complete line of services and covering a need for which there is very little
trained talent available in China. It will also allow Virtuos to increase
market share in Asia, by adding BSP's impressive line of clients to Virtuos'
client list. "By combining Virtuos' infrastructure with BSP's expertise, we
look forward to contributing to high-quality audio on many new titles for
Chinese and International game developers alike," said Gilles Langourieux, CEO,
Virtuos.
For the 3rd year in a row, Virtuos will attend Game Connection America
which takes place in San Francisco on March 24-26,2009, during the Game
Developers Conference. Sound Director Yang Jie and CEO Gilles Langourieux will
be present to discuss with clients and partners interested in Virtuos' new
sound production activities.
