As consumers nationwide look to save money by entertaining family and friends at home, Sam’s Club provides the variety, taste, quality and value needed to make any occasion a success. The Taste of Spring event is intended to help inform and inspire the most seasoned to even reluctant hosts, by solving their entertaining or everyday meal dilemmas.
“Sam’s Club is a great destination for any entertaining event,” said Wolfgang Puck, world-renowned chef and caterer to the stars. “Demonstration and sampling events, like Taste of Spring, provide members and guests a chance to try new products or discover unique twists to traditional favorites. I will be preparing some of my signature dishes for various media outlets throughout the country to help everyone gear up for the season.”
Puck also offers these entertaining and cooking tips for home cooks:
- Balance moderately priced ingredients with excellent execution and personalization by incorporating “family secret recipes or preparation techniques.”
- Begin with thoughtful preparation and excellent seasoning to make it a meal guests will remember.
- The most important thing in cooking is to taste as you go. Never serve anything you have not tasted.

An estimated 12,000 associates across the country are planned to help prepare for the “Taste of Spring,” and about 300,000 pounds of food are expected to be served.
