Photo Exhibit Featuring Pennsylvania Children Waiting to Be Adopted Visits Harrisburg

"The Heart Gallery helps to connect children with families who want to provide a supportive environment and help them achieve their dreams for the future," said Secretary of Public Welfare
Modeled after a concept created in
Photographers statewide donated their services to create portraits for the gallery. Each child's photo is accompanied by a detailed profile including information about his or her interests, personality and dreams.
To date, 31 of the children featured in the Heart Gallery have found permanent homes. There are currently more than 20,000 children living in foster care throughout
