Colbert wins NASA name poll
U.S. talk show host Stephen Colbert was the top vote getter in a poll to name a new wing of the International Space Station, CNN said Tuesday.
NASA asked people to weigh in on what it should name the room, offering suggestions like Serenity, Earthrise, Legacy and Venture, and inviting participants to write in other possible monikers.
Colbert, the star of the faux news program
The Colbert Report, lobbied to have the room named after him. NASA said he ended up earning 230,539 of the more than 1.1million votes cast.
CNN noted that even though Colbert's name got the most votes, NASA will make the final decision regarding the name and isn't expected to do so until next month.
