Sigma's video fulfillment solutions are used by operators around the globe to deliver TV and on-demand video services to millions of subscribers. Sigma's Residential Video Solution for IPTV allows telcos and ISPs to quickly deploy digital TV services and offer bundle packages that can include VOD and DVR/PVR. Combined with Sigma's Service Management Platform, Residential Video Solution for IPTV enables service providers to offer triple- and quad-play services from a common OSS platform.
"By enhancing our IPTV fulfillment with support video on demand, DVR/PVR and advanced advertising capabilities, we've made our solution for telecom on par with our proven video solutions used by some of the world's largest cable operators," said
Sigma has also enhanced its IPTV solution with support for its Subscriber Information Service (SIS) for advanced advertising. SIS gives service providers the ability to aggregate disparate sources of customer information -- such as location, subscriber demographics, services and usage trends -- into a single view for audience qualification.
The Sigma Video Solution for IPTV enables telecom service providers to:
- Deploy standalone or bundled IPTV services, including VOD, PPV and DVR
- Add voice, broadband and wireless services from the same platform for triple- or quad-play offerings
- Offer converged services, such as caller ID and unified messaging to the set-top box
- Easily handle order management and provisioning of customer premises equipment
- Increase revenues by introducing Sigma's advanced advertising solution
- Remove service silos for simplified management of all services on a common platform.
