Tweed to attend Goody’s funeral

Jade Goody’s husband Jack Tweed will be able to attend the British TV star’s funeral after officials said his sentencing in an assault case has been postponed.
The couple wed weeks before Goody died Sunday of cervical cancer at the age of 27. Goody was on the British version of the reality show Big Brother.
A Harlow Magistrates Court spokesman told the BBC that Tweed, 21, won’t be sentenced for assaulting a taxi driver until April 16.
Released earlier this month on conditional bail until his sentencing, Tweed will be free to attend the April 4 Goody’s funeral, which is to take place at a church near her home in Essex, the British broadcaster said.
