WIBC-FM Named Finalist for Prestigious Crystal Radio Awards

INDIANAPOLIS, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- WIBC-FM (93.1) has been named one of 50 nationwide finalists for the National Association of Broadcasters' Crystal Radio Awards, which recognizes outstanding year-round commitment to community service.

"Whether it is the Race for Riley, the Salvation Army Radiothon or our ongoing commitment to the Shepherd Community Center, I couldn't be prouder of the efforts of our team," Tom Severino, Vice President and General Manager of Emmis-Indianapolis said. "Especially in these difficult times, we work hard every day to reflect the giving nature of our Central Indiana listeners."

WIBC-FM is the only finalist for the award in Central Indiana this year.

Finalists will be honored and the ten winners announced at the Radio Luncheon, sponsored by ASCAP, on Tuesday, April 21, during the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
