Eutelsat and GlobeCast Renew Long-Term Collaboration at the Hot Bird(TM) Video Neighbourhood

PARIS, March 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Eutelsat Communications
(Euronext Paris: ETL) announced today that GlobeCast, a leading content
management and delivery company has renewed to 2016 five transponders leased
from the flagship HOT BIRD(TM) neighbourhood for broadcasting in Europe,
North Africa and the Middle East.

With the seven-year extension of all five contracts, GlobeCast is
continuing its longstanding relationship with Eutelsat for broadcasting
free-to-air and pay-TV channels to cable and satellite homes. From several of
its 12 facilities worldwide, GlobeCast uplinks five digital multiplexes to
Eutelsat’s HOT BIRD(TM) satellites comprising almost 70 television channels
including BBC World News, CNN International, EuroNews, JSTV, Al Jazeera, RTR
Planeta and Berbere TV.

As the contract was signed, Olivier Millies-Lacroix Eutelsat Commercial
