iBrowz fundamentally changes the way content and applications are delivered to smart phones and provides new ad targeting capabilities for today's mobile ad networks

LAS VEGAS, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at CTIA Wireless 2009, intouch Group, a pioneer in the delivery of digital media, today announced the public availability of iBrowz, a new mobile application giving smart phone users the ability to experience rich Internet content and applications on mobile phones, and the iStation, a web-based tool for discovering content and managing their smart phone experience from the cloud.

With the release of iBrowz, mobile users can receive Internet content, including news, weather, stocks, sports and entertainment, and popular web sites including Facebook and Yelp, directly to smart phones under one easy-to-use interface. With iBrowz, users no longer have to toggle between multiple smart phone applications and wait for applications to load to get to their favorite content quickly; iBrowz pushes content updates automatically in the background at user-selected intervals, making it instantly available on the device any time, any where

Once registered with iBrowz, users can also explore the iStation, a new web-based portal for remotely discovering and subscribing to hundreds of content providers and application widgets. The iStation also lets users manage the layout of the iBrowz home page using a browser-based drag and drop tool, a feature unavailable on today's smart phones.

Content publishers can take advantage of the unique caching abilities of iBrowz to develop content widgets quickly and cost-effectively using standard HTML, JavaScript and their favorite web development tools. Advertisers can take advantage of iBrowz's advanced targeting and cached delivery of Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) compliant banner ads to ensure that ad campaigns are delivered instantly, and are targeted effectively using user-provided demographic information.

"We're excited to announce the release of iBrowz and the iStation for mobile users, and the ability to provide a next generation mobile content platform and mobile advertising solution to the content publishers and advertisers," said Joshua Kaplan, CEO of intouch Group. "iBrowz provides smart phone users a new experience that finally makes it easy to consume their favorite mobile content. The results are increased page views and higher average time spent, compared to using multiple, stand-alone smart phone applications and mobile web sites, that aren't cached. We think content publishers and advertisers will see the unique value that intouch Group has created with iBrowz, allowing them to monetize content faster and more cost-effectively and run more effective, targeted ad campaigns."

iBrowz currently supports Windows Mobile 5.0 and higher smart phones and will support Blackberry, Android and Symbian platforms in the near future.
