Norway's GET Deploys Amdocs Cable Solution to Enable its First Digital TV Virtual Network Operator to Go Live
Posted on: Thursday, 2 April 2009, 05:15 CDT
GET can now offer digital TV services to third-party service operators from different networks, allowing GET to gain new customers and new revenues
Amdocs' provisioning and fulfillment solution for cable provides GET with a single platform to automate provisioning of digital TV, voice over IP, and high-speed Internet services for multiple service operators. The product's multi-domain capability enables the segmentation and management of VNO's subscriber's data so that GET can now sell and bill services to new customers even if they are physically located outside of the GET network. In addition to generating new revenues, GET will also benefit by delivering a superior customer experience by enabling VNO's to deliver "service on demand." Through the product's real-time provisioning capabilities, and Amdocs' Customer Service Portal, VNO's can provision digital TV services in real-time so that the customer receives the service they want, as soon as they order it.
"We are a firm believer that real-time access to our subscriber and operational information is a key enabler for realizing our dream of rapid creation and adoption of more innovative products and services," said
