Diane Keaton and Jeff Goldblum have been cast in the big-screen comedy Morning Glory, which is set to start shooting in New York next month.

Variety.com said the J.J. Abrams-produced film will feature Rachel McAdams as an aspiring news producer who tries to revive a morning program by getting control of its sparring anchors, who will be played by Keaton and Harrison Ford.

Goldblum has signed on to play the McAdams’ character’s boss.

Notting Hill and Venus director Roger Michell is heading up the movie, which was penned by The Devil Wears Prada screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, Variety.com said.

Keaton and McAdams previously played mother and daughter in The Family Stone.
