About the Book: Buckhead, A Place for All Time is a poignant, historical
account of one of Atlanta's oldest and most well known communities. Its
well-documented secrets include tales of Native Americans, murder, mayhem,
wars, and the Ku Klux Klan. Did you know the building at 3155 Roswell Rd. was
once a KKK sheet factory? Or that gold was discovered in Buckhead? Or land was
being sold for 5 cents an acre -- for which the price has since escalated as
much as 50 million times!
Woven through Buckhead's history are incredible stories of early settlers

and updated 2nd edition contains never before seen photographs of some of
Buckhead's most well known families. It is enhanced by personal anecdotes and
family histories.
