Season Eight’s Top 10 Contestants Will Perform in 50 Cities Across North America

Tickets Go On Sale May 9th, 2009 For The Live Concert Tour

LOS ANGELES, April 16 /PRNewswire/ — Fans of America’s #1 show will once again have the chance to catch their favorite “Idols” performing live in concert, as the top 10 contestants from American Idol season 8 hit the road in the highly anticipated summer tour. 19 Entertainment Founder/CEO and American Idol creator Simon Fuller, along with AEG Live, announced today that tickets for the American Idols Live! Tour will go on sale May 9th, 2009. This season’s American Idol top 10 contestants Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre will embark on the North American tour, which launches in Portland, OR on July 5th, 2009.
