SEATTLE, April 20 /PRNewswire/ — thePlatform, the leading white-label video management company, today announced an agreement with 4Kids Entertainment to manage the publication and delivery of online video to the 4Kids Entertainment portal, www.4Kids.TV and the new video programming portal www.4kidsTV.com. 4Kids delivers popular content to online and broadcast audiences through its 4Kids destination sites 4Kids.TV and 4kidsTV.com, in addition to TheCW4Kids Saturday morning programming block, including popular shows such as Chaotic: M’arrillian Invasion, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sonic X, Kirby, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and 20 additional titles representing more than 1,000 full-length episodes.

As more parents and kids turn to the Internet for on-demand viewing of their favorite shows, thePlatform disclosed that children’s programming now represents more than eight percent of all the video views it manages on behalf of major media companies. Compared to this period last year, the collection of kids’ programming it delivers throughout its video management system has grown by 141% in the past year. 4Kids joins a number of the most popular children’s programmers including PBS KIDS Sprout, Hit Entertainment and Corus Entertainment that rely on thePlatform to publish and syndicate Web video.
