American Business Media has selected Stream57's Flash-based webcasting software suite, StreamLine, to replace their annual two-day face-to-face event with monthly simulcast webcast programs. The new meetings, which remain engaging for both in-person event attendees and the online webcast audience, will allow ABM members to save on travel costs and time away from the office while still participating in the meetings.

"We are delighted to be working with Stream57, as we believe they are the perfect partner for the new evolution of ABM's Digital Velocity [DV] program and other streaming video applications," said Gordon T. Hughes, II, President & CEO, American Business Media. "ABM is also proud to see DV shift from the traditional face-to-face event to a model which it truly represents - taking valuable content online, streaming it to desktops across the country and around the world. Now, all ABM members, both domestic and international, will have the opportunity to participate in DV."

"Stream57 is thrilled to be working with ABM on this project," added Ben Chodor, President of Stream57. "By webcasting the Digital Velocity program instead of holding face-to-face conferences, ABM is able to multiply their audience and increase their reach exponentially. These monthly webcasts will ensure ABM's continuation of consistently leading the business world with cutting-edge technology and services."

The first simulcast event, a panel discussion on lead generation, will take place on May 12th and feature Capel States from States Consulting, Deb Walsh from Tabor Media, Frank Cutitta from IDG Connect, Joe Ferrick from NewBay Media and Aneel Tejwane from Source Media.
