WIBC-FM Wins an Unprecedented Third Crystal Radio Award

Only Indiana Broadcaster to be Honored for Public Service

INDIANAPOLIS, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- WIBC-FM (93.1, www.wibc.com) has been honored with the prestigious National Association of Broadcasters' Crystal Radio Award, which recognizes outstanding year-round commitment to community service.

"Winning the Crystal Award is one of the most coveted honors a radio station can earn because it brings recognition to the efforts made by the station to make the city and state where it broadcasts a better place," Tom Severino, Vice President and General Manager of Emmis-Indianapolis said. Ten winners were chosen from among 50 finalists.

WIBC-FM won the award in 1998 and 2003, making this year's win an unprecedented third time in the last 11 years. Winners were honored this week during the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
