Financial and Tech PR Firm Dukas Public Relations Hires Edmund R. Belak Jr. to Establish Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Practices

The new investor relations practice will provide comprehensive investor relations services for public and pre-IPO companies. These services will help management communicate the results of business decisions to audiences that purchase, or influence the purchase of, their company's equity or debt.
The corporate communications practice will build, manage and protect the reputations, images and brands of public and private companies; and will develop and implement programs to optimize corporate, product and shareholder value.

Prior to joining DPR, Belak held senior positions with Hill & Knowlton, where he was national head of the financial communications practice and on the U.S. management committee; Georgeson & Co., where he built the IR practice; and Morgen Walke (now part of Financial Dynamics) as co-head of their financial institutions group. He was also a private equity banker at Laidlaw & Co.
Belak has provided IR services to over 60 public companies during a 20-year career. His Fortune 1000 experience includes high-profile crises assignments, M&A, over three dozen IPOs, privatizations and several exchange listings. He also specializes in working with undervalued companies, designing and implementing results-oriented communications programs.
