NVIDIA and CGSociety Announce Winners of Worldwide Digital Art Competition

More than 400 entries were received from 65 countries in response to the challenge to create images in the style of the world-renowned Polish surrealist
- First Place: "Time" by

Marcin Jakubowski ,Poland - Third Place: "Glasses" by
Petar Petrov ,Bulgaria - Fourth Place: "Industry" by
Simon Dominic ,United Kingdom - Fifth Place: "Lost in a Good Book" by
Perry Edwards ,United States
"This competition has generated some of the most outstanding art we have seen, and passionate interest from entrants," said Mark Snoswell, president of the CGSociety. "One entrant was so moved that he sent us a hand-written letter praising the topic and saying that it had been a fantastic learning experience which we should repeat."
