SAN FRANCISCO, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- BCCI Construction Company has been named to the Bay Area's "Best Places to Work" list by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

BCCI has been recognized four consecutive years on the prestigious Best Places to Work list, which honors companies with positive work environments and best employment practices. Winning companies are selected on the results of a confidential employee survey.

"I am especially pleased to be recognized once again as one of the Bay Area's Best Places to Work," said BCCI President and CEO Michael Scribner, "because it acknowledges our emphasis on investing in each of our employees. We accomplish this by driving professional growth and opportunity, and it is our strong belief that commitment to quality begins with our people."

Recipients of Best Places to Work awards were honored at a ceremony April 29 at the Hilton San Francisco. Winning companies will also be recognized in a special "Best Places to Work" publication insert in the May 1, 2009 editions of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal and the San Francisco Business Times.
