In "Surviving Disaster," Spike TV presents a series unlike any other on television which may actually save a life. What's the best way to survive an earthquake, shark attack, plane crash, bioterrorism, hijack, mall siege, or hostage crisis? It's imperative for viewers and their families to know how to survive disaster, both natural and man-made, and former Navy SEAL Cade Courtley is just the guy to lead viewers to safety in this elaborate step-by-step weekly series. With some of the most elaborate disaster simulations ever created for television, "Surviving Disaster" is a look at how people can arm themselves with knowledge that could save their lives in the event of disaster.

Ten one-hour episodes of "Surviving Disaster" will be produced by Wall to Wall Media ("Man On Wire," "Frontier House," "Spymaster," "Ancient Egyptians") with Alex Graham serving as executive producer.

Spike TV is available in 98 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks. Hello All! I think this will be a great show and very informative. I also wanted to put it out there that my father, Mike Teters, was interviewed for Surviving Disaster by Spike and will be on the episode concerning FIRE. He was in a propane explosion back in 2006, and amazingly he survived it! (well after months of being kept alive by a ventilator :) If you have time to check out his actual story you can read it and news articles at www.miketeters.com. Thank you! My father's site is in no way affiliated with Spike.
