AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Announces Season-Long National Cable Schedule on VERSUS

VERSUS Will Televise Eleven Events in 2009

LOS ANGELES, May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AVP Pro Beach Volleyball today announced a new cable television deal with VERSUS to televise men's and women's finals from eleven of fourteen remaining AVP Crocs Tour events during the 2009 season. The full AVP on VERSUS schedule is listed below.

The cable television deal with VERSUS comes on the heels of the network television deal the AVP signed with NBC Sports, who will nationally broadcast AVP Crocs Tour events in Coney Island, Hermosa Beach, Calif. and Chicago. The AVP partnered with Fox Sports Network (FSN), for the cable broadcast of its second AVP Crocs Tour event in Riverside, Calif.
