Daystar Network Dishes Out National DVD Release of 'Captain Mac.A.Roni':

Animated Adventure Mixes Morals, Humor for Family Audiences

DALLAS, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Daystar Television Network is providing entertainment for the whole family with the May 1 national DVD release of "The Cheesy Adventures of Captain Mac.A.Roni," an original animated film that cleverly combines comedy and adventure to model values of love, forgiveness and faith.

Set in the fantasy realm of Liberty Island, "The Cheesy Adventures of Captain Mac.A.Roni" follows a courageous trio of kids - Sandy, Mikey and Eddie - who have learned their kingdom's greatest treasure has been stolen by the sinister Pirate Grime. The valiant and witty Captain Mac.A.Roni, and his cream pie-throwing sidekick chicken named Cheese, show up and set sail for the seas to track down Grime. During the quest, Mac.A.Roni and Cheese teach viewers about the importance of love and forgiveness when faced with adversity, revealing the true meaning of the treasure.

Produced by an Emmy Award-winning team in conjunction with Animation Collective's Larry Schwarz, "The Cheesy Adventures of Captain Mac.A.Roni" provides edgy pacing typically seen on Nickelodeon or the Cartoon Network, along with Daystar's well-known, values-oriented foundation.

Additionally, the DVD received the "family approved" seal from The Dove Foundation who said, "this animated adventure will have everyone rolling on the floor with laughter as they learn important values and lessons."
