Heritage Media Reports Strong Advertiser Interest in Recently Installed Canadian Billboard; Completes Formation of Operating Subsidiary in India to Launch Far East Market

CALGARY, Alberta, May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Heritage Media Corporation (Pink Sheets: HMCP) today announced that its North American operating subsidiary, Screen Giant Media Corporation, has installed and is now operating its second outdoor LED video billboard at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium, home of the 2008 Grey Cup winning Calgary Stampeders.

The two billboards overlook one of the major high-traffic arteries in Calgary. With the University of Calgary only a few blocks away, pedestrian traffic is also high. McMahon Stadium attracts over a million visitors a year to the many sporting events, community events and concerts it hosts.

Several major advertisers are already using the new LED billboard. They include nationwide TV network CTV, WestJet, Warner Brothers and the Canadian Lottery. These clients gain significantly increased brand exposure and message retention as a direct result of this highly effective digital medium.

Heritage is also pleased to announce the formation of its new operating subsidiary, Screen Giant Media Private Limited (India). Through joint venture partners, Screen Giant India will secure contracts for billboard placements in India’s prime metro areas, including Mumbai and New Delhi. Although the addressable market could easily accommodate 1000 screens, the Company is initially negotiating funding for the build out of a 100-screen network.
