N-Dubz singer doesn’t have swine flu
Tulisa Contostavlos’ spokesman said tests have confirmed the British pop singer didn’t have swine flu as feared.
The 20-year-old member of the group N-Dubz was hospitalized in Athens last week after she fell ill on a flight from England to Greece.
The BBC said she was released from the hospital Saturday and has been staying at an aunt’s home.
Doctors reportedly advised her not to leave the house as a precaution until her test results came back. She found out she tested negative for swine flu (the H1N1 virus) Tuesday, the British broadcaster said.
Hopefully, she’ll get better and be able to fly back towards the end of the week, but we don’t know if she will be well enough (to perform with the band at Sunday’s Radio 1 Big Weekend concert,) the singer’s spokesman said.
