Farrow documents hunger strike on YouTube
U.S. actress Mia Farrow is documenting on YouTube her hunger strike in support of refugees in Darfur.
The New York Post Wednesday said Farrow is now in Day 11 of a water-only fast she hopes to keep for a three weeks to protest the ban of 16 human welfare agencies from the region by Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir.
Of course, I don’t expect that me on a hunger strike is going to do that much, the Post quoted Farrow as saying in one YouTube clip.
But if it provides a news hook for newspapers so they can talk about what’s really important, then that will be worth it.
