Interactive agency Beeby Clark + Meyler partners with rich media provider EyeWonder to provide interactive video ad solution for Immelt's address on the state of healthcare

ATLANTA, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- EyeWonder, Inc., an innovator in interactive digital advertising technologies and services, today announced their partnership with interactive agency Beeby Clark + Meyler to produce an online ad campaign for GE, featuring EyeWonder's LiveWonder live video feature.

Earlier this morning, GE CEO Jeff Immelt appeared in a live video broadcast to speak on the state of healthcare and what GE is doing as a company to help doctors and hospitals deliver quality healthcare to more people at lower cost. Filmed from the Newseum in Washington, D.C., the one-hour speech ran live in GE banner ads on top publishing sites, including CNN, CNN Money, BBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, AOL, Yahoo News, Yahoo Health, Huffington Post, Washington Post, Weather.com and WebMD.

"Incorporating live video in online advertising is a hot topic right now--we've seen numerous requests recently from advertisers and their agencies who are interested in using it," said EyeWonder CIO Ricky McClellen. "GE and Beeby Clark + Meyler pioneered the use of live in-banner advertising and utilized our LiveWonder feature last year as well. We're pleased to partner with Beeby Clark + Meyler on this project to once again push GE's advertising ahead of the curve."

Viewers watching the live broadcast were able to comment on Immelt's speech directly through the ad unit. Thousands of comments appeared in the ad units, which constantly updated as content was submitted. After the live broadcast, a recorded version of Immelt's address ran on GE's healthymagination.com Website.

"GE takes on some of the world's most difficult challenges, and we thought using live video in their online ad campaign would portray their sense of immediacy on important issues," said Michael Clark, Principal of Beeby Clark + Meyler. "Mr. Immelt spoke on a topic relevant to many people in today's economy, and having his speech reach a live audience while also taking comments made his message resonate on a more personal level. By working with EyeWonder, we've been able to provide highly innovative technology and service solutions for GE's online advertising campaigns."
