James Thomas wins ‘Survivor’

James J.T. Thomas, Jr. has been declared the winner of Survivor: Tocantins.

Thomas won the reality competition show’s $1 million prize in a 2-hour season finale that aired Sunday night.

CBS said Monday the show placed first in viewers and key demographics for its time period.

About 12.74 million people are estimated to have tuned in for the finale, the network said.
