Publicist: Swayze is alive and well

Patrick Swayze’s publicist says the U.S. actor has not died, despite rumors that made the rounds Tuesday morning claiming he had.
The 56-year-old movie and television star has been battling pancreatic cancer for more than a year. He filmed his action TV show The Beast
while undergoing treatment for the disease. Swayze is best known for his roles in the films The Outsiders,
Dirty Dancing,
Ghost,
Point Break
and Road House.
This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Fla.,
Swayze’s representative Annett Wolf told People magazine. Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.
