Neeson gets bulk of Richardson’s estate
British actress Natasha Richardson, fatally injured in a skiing accident in Canada, has left her husband, actor Liam Neeson, most of her estate, records show.
Estate records reveal the actress, who died at the age of 45 after being hurt during a March ski vacation in Quebec left most of her assets to Neeson, but also left sizable bequests to several relatives and close acquaintances, the New York Post reported Sunday.
While $20,000 of Richardson’s estate was left to an unidentified aunt of the late actress, New York fashion designer Kevin Mark Harris received $10,000.
Josephine Burke, a London employee of Richardson’s, was left $50,000 by
The Parent Trap actress and Richardson’s half-sister Katharine Grimond Hess received $200,000, records show.
The executors of Richardson’s estate are Neeson and actor Aidan Quinn, a close friend of the celebrity couple. No mention was made of a bequest to Quinn.
The Post said Richardson created her last will and testament in 2005. Specific details of her estate’s total value and how much was left to Neeson were not reported.
